Best known as the woodworking mustachioed Ron Swanson on Parks and Recreation, Nick Offerman is quick to distance himself from the character, even singing a song titled “I’m Not Ron Swanson” on his current Full Bush tour. The multihyphenate got his start as a classically trained actor, and later flexed his chops in the Huntington Theatre Company’s A Confederacy of Dunces in 2015. These days, with a deadpan-yet-giddy delivery, Offerman is singing along with a ukulele he made himself, and offering advice on approaching life with enthusiasm. (Aside from the, er, obvious connotation, the show title is in reference to this philosophy.) Let’s not beat around the bush: Head to the Wilbur to catch Offerman in action on Dec. 2.
